This is definitely not your average logo build or commercial, that’s for sure… but having seen this, it is effective in getting the viewer interested in the product. That… and it confirms the fact that cool visuals combined with a sexy person to deliver the message still works in today’s advertising. Ahh, let’s just be honest. Sex sells [period]. What I love about this is they successfully managed to demonstrate the crux of this app – not only with the machine concept, but the girl represents every user of this app, and how as a music lover, it’s just all you’ll want to consume. Whether you gather the sexual undertones hinted with her swallowing, showing her constant desire to consume all she can – or whether it’s the blatant nudity that exonerates her from any scrutiny (being the user that simply cannot stop herself from the indulgence) – this video is by far effective in captivating its audience. As a side note, I couldn’t help but notice that of all the cd covers they could have used, they featured Bowie (which I can totally see why) and Chevy Chase (which I can’t seem to understand) for the life of me.
